Geoff Olds presented on behalf of Jesper Lowgren on how to transform your business and yourself from ordinary to extraordinary. Geoff Old’s is the managing director of TechFlare solutions. His large-scale thinking was recognised when TechFlare won two CRN Fast50 awards and a BRW Fast 100 award. Geoff’s presentation covered how business transformation occurs, how digital disruption effects every business, the change race, thinking differently, the evolution of complexity, the lack of clarity in businesses, simplification, passion, passion as a change agent, how technology has improved but businesses aren’t more productive, asking why, how agility, passion, capability and goals are essential for success.

Julie Dolan explained the fast growth in SMSF, the benefits of having an SMSF including more control, the ability to borrow and the tax benefits. Julie Dolan is the CEO and Founder of SMSF Consulting. She has 20 years’ experience in the Accounting and Financial Services Industry. Julie also presented the considerations when starting a SMSF including the administrative requirements of having a SMSF, retirement planning and estate planning.
