What is Xero Me?

Xero Me is for Australian payroll employees and managers.

Xero recently announced the release of Xero Me for iOS and Android in Australia. Xero Me gives employees and managers the flexibility to manage leave and view pay history from anywhere.

Xero Me for employees

Employees can now submit and view leave requests directly from their mobile phone. When an employee submits a leave request they then see whether it’s been approved or declined in the app. Employees can also see their own upcoming leave on the payroll calendar and view leave balances.

Employees can also view their latest pay details and past payslips. They can even download a PDF of their past payslips when needed. All this can be done anywhere and anytime.

Xero Me for managers

Managers can use Xero Me to view, manage and action leave requests all from their phone. Gone are the days of having to be tied to your desk. Xero Me provides managers a calendar so that they can easily view, manage and approve or deny employee leave requests while on the go.

Xero Me greatly improves the employee – employer relationship while allowing small businesses to effectively streamline their day-to-day operations.

Just the beginning

This is just the beginning of being able to manage key payroll process from the phone. We are working on bringing employee timesheets to Xero Me as soon as possible.

We’re also updating the entire leave request, accrual and approval flow as we speak. It will be released for Payroll in Xero in the coming releases. We’ve listened to your feedback on what improvements we need to make, and I’m confident you will like what you see.
